The 2025-26 Book of Remembrance

It is a tradition at Adat Shalom Synagogue to offer you the opportunity to participate in our annual Book of Remembrance. This unique book, which commemorates the memory of departed loved ones, is used during the four Yizkor services throughout the year. It contains the complete Yizkor service, a listing of all Adat Shalom memorial plaques, the names of those you wish to remember, and inspirational meditations and prayers.

Within the Yizkor prayer, El Malei Rachamim, it states that the worshiper resolves to contribute to a charity in remembrance of their loved one’s soul. By participating in this mitzvah, you have the opportunity to connect “l’dor vador” – from generation to generation.

*A 3% credit card convenience fee will be added to your transaction. You may also send a check to the synagogue to avoid the fee.
