Join us for a meaningful season of prayer, community, and family programming
across Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Below is what to expect each day.
Rosh Hashanah Day 1 — Saturday, 9/12
* 8:30 AM–1:00 PM — Schmooze Room open in the Social Hall (stage side): coffee, snacks, and a relaxed space to schmooze with friends while kids are with their grown-ups
* 9:00 AM–1:00 PM — Kids’ Club open (classrooms): staffed activities and Jewish learning for children while parents attend services
* 9:00–9:45 AM — Dor Katan: family service for kids 5 and under, with Elissa and Aron
* 10:00–10:45 AM — L’dor Vador family service for 1st–3rd graders (with parents), led by clergy with music
* 10:00 AM — Family Drumming with Aron Kaufman — a high-energy, all-ages celebration. SPACE IS LIMITED.
* 11:00 AM — Family Yoga with Stacy Bishop (Israel Room)
* 11:00 AM — Dor Dorim: youth-led service for 4th–7th graders
Rosh Hashanah Day 2 — Sunday, 9/13

* 9:50 AM — Blessing of the Babies (Sanctuary)
* 10:00 AM — Shofar sounding — everyone welcome to come up and hear
* 10:00–10:45 AM — L’dor Vador family service for 1st–3rd graders (with parents), led by clergy with music
* 10:00 AM — Family Yoga with Stacy Bishop (Israel Room)
* 11:00 AM — Family Drumming with Aron Kaufman — a high-energy, all-ages celebration. SPACE IS LIMITED
* 11:00 AM — Dor Dorim: youth-led service for 4th–7th graders
* 11:15 AM — Teen Tashlich with Dr. Melissa Ser (meet in the lower lobby outside the library)
* 12:15 PM — Family Tashlich with Rabbi Bergman
Erev Yom Kippur — Sunday, 9/20
* 6:45 PM — Kol Nidre childcare available
* 7:00 PM — Kol Nidre & Maariv services
Yom Kippur — Monday, 9/21
* 9:00 AM — Schmooze Room is open today, but no food is served
* 9:00 AM Kids’ Club open (classrooms): staffed activities and Jewish learning for children while parents attend services
* 9:00 AM Dor Katan: family service for kids 5 and under, with Elissa and Aron
* 10:00 AM — L’dor Vador (1st–3rd grade) family service and Family Drumming
* 11:00 AM — Dor Dorim (4th–7th grade) youth service and Family Yoga

* Evening — Minchah, followed by 6:00 PM Nei’lah
* 7:00 PM — Magic Show: _The Magical Journey of Judaism_ , with award-winning magician Jeff “The Great Jew-dini,” followed by a glow stick parade into the sanctuary
* 7:55 PM — Sounding of the Shofar to close the holiday
